Jumbled in a forceful unit of smoke and flesh pushing into the arena, the feeling of unity was the vibe between us strangers.

A difficulty in evaluating older albums occurs when reminiscence collides with objectivity. For me, listening to Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" conjures memories of an eleven year old whizzing across the floor of Great Skate in Germantown, Maryland, wearing a Michael Jackson "Beat It" jacket and parachute pants.

As Nintendo continues to strike gold over and over with every Wii-exclusive game they send to the United States, they've apparently been noticing a trend with us American gamers: we love new versions of classic games.

Luckily, we're getting another one.

'Who Ordered The Gratuity?'

"Who ordered the gratuity?!" I overheard this question as I dropped a check to a table of 10 people. A rude, cheap, and as it turned out, not very bright woman was rigorously checking every item on her ticket. When she arrived at the item entitled "gratuity," she
furiously questioned the rest of her party, "Who ordered the gratuity?! It's expensive!"

The woman thought that "gratuity" was a meal! I was just thankful for automatic minimum gratuity for parties of eight or more.

Now that spring break has come and gone, I know that most students are looking forward to our next chance at freedom, summer break.

I took some time over spring break to take a look at the motives that guys and girls use for going on spring break. As one might guess, they are completely different.

The 2008 Presidential Election season is in full swing. Most of the individual state primaries have already occurred and we're now looking towards the party conventions and the general election in November. But who will you vote for?

The news headlines are filled daily with information on the lives of the three main candidates left in the race, McCain, Obama and Clinton.

Gainesville State College, in an effort to show how much we use our buildings to get a new one, will be implementing noon classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this upcoming fall semester.

That's right! We may lose our club meeting times, but we'll be getting a new building.
