Different kinds of people gathered together in the Student Life Building for the Club Fair Jan.14 from noon until 1 p.m.

Gainesville State College supports 49 different clubs. There are art clubs, history clubs, math clubs, clubs for different races, clubs based on religion, and many more. Students gathered together at the many different tables to find which club is the best for their interest.

Alicia Caudill, Ph.D talked with Stephanie Henderson about the Student Development & Enrollment Management Club. The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Management facilitate that recruitment, enrollment, and retention of a diverse student population, according to the flyer at their booth. They help provide contacts for different departments. Two students, Zack Tolson and John Schaefer discussed the many upcoming events that the SGA will participate in this school year. The GSC Ambassadors representative, faculty member Heather Page talked with student Nicole Moua about the school tours and helping with the open house.

CAB hosted the fair for all the 40 different clubs on campus. It worked just like an open house. Students and faculty came anytime during the hour for lunch and to mingle. Students signed up for clubs and staff members got the chance to see how all the clubs work and how they are supported. Everyone had a good time.
