The Counseling and Career Services will host the Spring Job Fair on March 18.
This will be the second Job Fair this school year.

The Job Fair is hosted in the fall and spring. Edward Lai and Debbie Pierce are in charge of setting up and organizing each job fair.

"The purpose of the Job Fair is to invite employers to come to our campus to recruit our students", said Professor Lai. He expects there to be anywhere from 25 to 35 different companies with tables set up.

There will be research companies, fast food companies and even temp agencies. Employers will be looking for full time, part time and seasonal employees.

The Job Fair offers different opportunities to students at Gainesville State College.

Students can walk around to different tables, gathering information and casually talk with employers about their company and job descriptions.

Students can also receive their first job interview,"each student should bring a professional resume with them, with their professional interests listed," said Lai.

An interview lasting 10 to 15 minutes will decide whether the employer would like to invite them to the business for a second interview.

The Job Fair will be held in the Student Activities Building. It will last from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Everyone come out and see which job interests you!
